Discovered it here with the latest Firefox on Lucid. 1. Open Nautilus and locate the .gvfs directory in your home directory (ctrl-h displays the hidden entries) 2. Right click on .gvfs and make a link. 3. Rename the “Link to .gvfs” to something like “Network” 4. Drag the entry from above to your Nautilus bookmarks
This should make the behaviour "almost" as expected.
