Binary package hint: rhythmbox
This is in Ubuntu 10.04. This machine was upgraded from 8.04.
Rhythmbox version: 0.12.8-0ubuntu7
Problem: If I start rhythmbox and insert an audio cd, the cd does not
appear in rhythmbox. I use ion3 as my window manager, although I do run
gnome-settings-daemon. If I start gnome in a nested X session, then
rhythmbox is suddenly able to find the audio cd.
Expected behavior: Being able to use audio cds in rhythmbox without
starting gnome
