Just some additional info: I can't always trigger this bug, but these steps will trigger it for sure on my system: 1) With the AC power connected, start up Ubuntu and log in. 2) Make sure Ubuntu is set to blank the screen upon lid close (for both battery and AC modes). 3) Close the lid--wait a few seconds--open the lid again. Unlock the screen if necessary to get back to your desktop. 4) Now, unplug the AC power and wait a few seconds. Right at the same instant the "battery discharging" message appears, my screen will go black.
Hope this helps. -- disconnecting AC power registers as lid close event https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/561656 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
