well, 2 things: - the patch, once processed by launchpad, seems to alter something. not much harms though. - I've wrongly left the "--dry-run" part of the "patch" command. Just remove this option, and relaunch the full line, ie: cd /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6 && sudo patch -p0 </home/lub/Downloads/PyNUT-rw-except.diff and concerning the autostart-problem: I had already added nut to group > dialout, but this hadn't changed anything > you have still not answered my question on the content of /etc/nut/nut.conf! I'd also need the result of the following commands, issued just after a reboot, without restarting the driver: ps -efl | grep mge-utalk upsc mgeups ls -la /var/run/nut cheers, Arnaud -- problems with ups (mge pulsar es 8+) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/608182 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
