The bug also affects Samsung N150 netbooks. Screen will sometimes wake though, but WiFi and LAN won't.
Why is "Importance" of this bug only marked as medium? I'm willing to bet that 90% of all Ubuntu installations are on laptops or netbooks and that at 50% are affected by this. So far I've only seen old IBM Thinkpads perfectly wake from suspend and hibernate. The current "68 people affected by this bug" represents maybe 68,000 people not being smart enough to report bugs. Well, probably more. This bug should be marked as "Critical", since it affects a huge portion of the target marked for Ubuntu. Power management is crucial for portable units. Please raise severity to "Critical". -- Resume from suspend does not work https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/568711 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
