Jonathan Riddell, the test case is simple: Set up a printer Epson Stylus S20, S21, T20, or T21 (you need the actual printer) and try to print on it with Gutenprint as the driver. This will not work. The SRU fixes the bug in Gutenprint and the mentioned printers return to work again.
