I am a Chinese Ubuntu user, I against use Baidu as default search engine
-- you can add it anyway, but make it default is not acceptable.

Like Homer Xing said, more than 50% Chinese users dislike Baidu. (I
think "Chinese users" means "Chinese Ubuntu user", 50% is not the real
case, I think the number will be 95%+ or more.)

Maybe Baidu have a little higher market share in China, but anyone knows how it
gains the market share?
- Through adware, spyware
- As a gift from the great f**king wall -- many new computer users can not
stand frequent "Connection Reset" from Google's result, Baidu never been
"reset", because it filter the search result.

In a country that Google is partially
disabled(http://www.google.com/prc/report.html#hl=en), some computer
user force to use baidu.

Baidu did know Chinese language in some ways -- actually I don't think
it is any better than Google by my personal experience; but it doesn't
know English at all. Many Ubuntu related problem are resolved only in
English, Baidu don't know that.

Baidu's search results sometimes depend how much money the website pays
it!!!!! Some website experienced all the web page result removed from
baidu, just because they reject Baidu's "竞价排行", which means who pays
more on keyword, who could be list before others in search result(YES,
in SEARCH RESULT, NOT in ADs!).

If the tragedy that baidu becomes the default search Engine, I would
choose to not use Chinese language as my default language.

English UI is OK for me. But, baidu as a default search engine is not
acceptable.
