Adding "acpi=rsdt" in the kernel boot params also resolved this issue for me. I went from having 15s battery wakeup times upon resume to ~120ms times. Additionally, querying battery information through /sys is way faster (read: reasonably instantaneous).
$ dmidecode -s system-product-name MacBookPro7,1 I don't really understand the comment https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8246#c60 ruling out a blacklist approach for this issue. We already have a blacklist for the (unrelated) ahci driver for a *ton* of hardware that misbehaves. Maybe I'll write a patch to get the discussion going again, given that the above bug is closed. -- PM: resume of drv:battery dev:PNP0C0A:00 complete after 59348.072 msecs https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/575180 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
