Public bug reported:

On a Lenovo S10, after installing UNR Lucid and activating the Broadcom
STA driver for the BCM4312 (and having experienced bug #464648 a few
times before getting it to work), the wireless network works at a very
short range from the router.

This is somewhat similar to bug #604835 and bug #488340, and in most
cases I can only get a working connection from within 3 meters to the
router, otherwise the network manager applet shows a signal strength of
less than 20%, and it fails to connect.

The behavior is the same when connecting to D-Link, Linksys or AirPort
Extreme wireless routers.

This is a regression from Karmic.
