Brian Rogers, Thanks for the PPA, it's made this easier to test. My wake ups are down from ~250 to about ~45. I asked Jeremy Foshee from the kernel team on how best to continue testing this:
- We should probably see how the LKML discussion evolves and see if there's a final fix. When the patch is accepted upstream we can put it in Maverick. - At some point after testing since this is affecting Lucid users we can cherrypick it into an update. - We can use this bug to give feedback on the patch, so if it's improved your situation (or worsened it) then we can help collectively test. -- Tens of wakes per second in "[kernel scheduler] Load balancing tick" on Core 2 Duo even with only 1 core enabled https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/524281 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
