Public bug reported: Binary package hint: update-manager
I tried to do an update with an installer (not live) CD. I ran apt-CD and ran the updater. It first failed because of an MD5 mismatch. I had a look at sudo aptitude dist-upgrade, and there were a lot of broken dependencies. I did not run dist-upgrade. I then reran the upgrade tool without the CD. It detected that the CD was not in, and continued. It then crashed. See below.
