I'm STILL affected by this bug, on different media (External HDD powered USB2 drives, and flash drives). This is on Lucid Lynx.
TO summarise, I think the frustrations felt by the user community are valid. Looking at the top of this thread reveals the following rather pertinent information and it certainly gives the impression that nothing is being done about it.
