Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubiquity
When attempting to install Maverick, Ubiquity does not find my HDD. However, in the live environment, I can find and access the disks with dolphin. Ubiquity does however find my external HDD (firewire). The HDD internal currently has lucid on it in 2 partitions, / and /home. ubu...@ubuntu:~$ apt-cache policy ubiquity ubiquity: Installed: 2.3.2 Candidate: 2.3.2 Version table: *** 2.3.2 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ maverick/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ubu...@ubuntu:~$ ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 Package: ubiquity 2.3.2 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-7.11-generic 2.6.35-rc4 Uname: Linux 2.6.35-7-generic x86_64 Architecture: amd64 Date: Mon Jul 12 01:26:03 2010 LiveMediaBuild: Kubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat" - Alpha amd64 (20100709) ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE= LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: ubiquity ** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug maverick -- Ubiquity does not find HDD's. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/604395 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
