Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: apt-cacher-ng

I often re-import new data into my cache. As I have no clean way of
importing only the packages I need, I import everything.

For backup reasons (and speed with copying), it would be a bit easier if it do
a checksum to only replace packages that are different.
Another option (since clean cache can take care of package problems) would be
to simply refuse to replace packages that are already present.

I would assume this would be best as an import option.

** Affects: apt-cacher-ng (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
