QUESTION: Can you print now?
ANSWER: no, I can't - the printing-queue window still claims for "printing in
progress - the printer may be not connected" (I'm translating from Italian).
From the control-panel interface, the "ink-level update" button leads me to the
same message "the printer may be not connected".
The file /var/log/cups/error_log shows these tail lines (repeated many many
times):

and after these lines, something more:
