Public bug reported: Binary package hint: udev
I'm trying to get Mobile Broadband working in Ubuntu 10.4 using a Huawei E220 USB modem. I have updated the firmware on the device. I have installed the usb-modeswitch package. The modem does not seem to be visible to the system although lsusb shows it: ~$ lsusb Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub Bus 002 Device 013: ID 12d1:1003 Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.
