I have had an X200 since they first came out (like 2 years ago i think) and every linux distro i have tried have had thee issues. ubuntu, arch, fedora, pclinuxos, ...
It uses about 10 watts completely idle (no mouse movement) and maybe 15 watts when in use (it jumps around a lot). in the last 2 hours i do have peaks in the 35 watt region (omg) There is definetly an issue with the linux kernel; nothing distribution specific. i have used linux and only linux on it from day one; i would have thought this issue would have been solved by now; it has not been. sigh. -- Ienovo X200 power consumption - power top https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/380293 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
