Public bug reported: First: keep up the really good work ^^
I installed feisty beta from the live CD (i386 version on an AMD athlon64). With the installer i formatted the EXT3 partition where edgy is stored, and after a fast and easy installation, at reboot fsck started. I don't rememer quite well, but it said: "sda4 has not been checked for 47900 (lots of!) times. Ckeck forced... ... ... fail there was errors on sda4 partition. corrected. system will now reboot." The the system restarted and it's all ok. Gparted confirms too. The strange thing is that i tried also to install the feisty AMD64 live version, but i didn't noticed the problem (maybe i'm wrong) My HD has 250 gb and 4 partitions: 3GB fat32 for recovery, 140gb ntfs for windows, 1GB swap, remaining EXT3 for ubuntu. hope it helps :) PS: sry for my bad english ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Mon Mar 26 15:43:05 2007 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 7.04 Uname: Linux feisty64 2.6.20-12-generic #2 SMP Wed Mar 21 20:55:46 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux ** Affects: Ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- feisty live install (i386) does not format correctly ext3 partition https://launchpad.net/bugs/96471 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
