Actually, this wasn't fixed by an update or configuration change, but by
applying a workaround, supplied by verterok. However, I do not know if
verterok (or anyone else) has since then found the cause of the problem,
or if a fix has already been committed.

For now I'm marking the bug as New again. I will send a message to
verterok, though, and ask if he can tell me if this has been fixed yet.
