A) xserver-xorg-input-synaptics is already the newest version B) gpointing-device-settings was not installed, but I did install it and it added a menu item System > Preferences > Pointing Devices
Going into System > Preferences > Mouse I still cannot see a Touchpad tab, Going into the new System > Preferences > Pointing Devices menu item, I do not see anything except that the system has detected a Im/PS2 Logitech Wheel Mouse which is not the case (though I did at one point attach a USB Logitech keyboard/mouse setup, but that is not the case at the moment). -- touchpad not recognized https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/598366 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
