This is a regression and breaks mounting floppies. Please see: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/441835/comments/227 I backed down to udisks (1.0.1-1build1) via synaptic (Package|Force Version) and now the floppy mounts properly using 'Places|Floppy Disk'.
