Just found something else, if I change the image to a different PNG (or JPG or whatever created by the GIMP) the Ogg file plays fine. So it must be something to do with the picture that is embedded in some Ogg files. I have created two picture files (attached). When embedded, one works and the other does not. I am not sure if it is related to the compression, file size or what. I hope this gives you more to go on.
