Public bug reported: Binary package hint: pdftk
Compressing of previous uncompressed pdf-document does not work with newest pdftk in Ubuntu 10.04. pdftk document.pdf output document_uncompressed.pdf uncompress -> output document is uncompressed pdftk document_uncompressed.pdf output document_recompress.pdf compress -> output document is not compressed, although "verbose" told me it does pdftk document.pdf output document_recompressed.pdf compress -> will recompress my document, the output document will be compressed and have the same size, or even a little smaller size than the input document. Have tried that with many totally different origined pdf files (cups-pdf print, downloaded ebooks, invoices) ** Affects: pdftk (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- pdf compression does not work for uncompressed pdfs https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/597871 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
