When I try to suspend my HP EliteBook 8440p, I just get a white screen, and
then it hangs.
I have to press the power button in order to reset the laptop afterwards.
This is maybe related with another problem: when I try to shutdown, the
computer always hangs, and I have to turn it off manually.
