@Didier Why don't we instead have Ubuntu pull the up-to-date terminal code from upstream and call it fixed? The patch appeared back in Feb in Gnome Terminal 2.30 which is within Lucid's update frame. Shouldn't we use Bill's skills and motivation on the other part of the bug, the one involving "sudo"? Sorry if that sounds too noob, just striving for optimal use of scarce volunteer resources.
