I'm only speculating here, but chances are that if you did a custom
partitioning you forgot to format /, /usr/ or /var during the
installation, which is not supported ( bug 47046 is about the installer
not warning you of this ... ) At any rate, I think it's OK if I close
this because there's hardly enough information to fix anything. If you
do a reinstall and still experience issues, please feel free to open a
new bug. Thanks a lot for reporting this!
