After updating to 2.28.3-0ubuntu10 today I get a similar problem, when replying to e-mail with a from a line like
From: "company.org - FirstName LastName" <n...@company.org> evolution tries the reply to To: "company.org-" <"FirstName Lastname name"@company.org> not just in the "To: " field but also as an "RCPT TO:" protocol line (as "FirstName Lastname name"@company.org), which obviously doesn't work. This used to work for many years up until today, so I assume that this problem was introduced by a recent update. I also have an addressbook entry for that email address with just the "Full Name" set to "FirstName LastName", but where LastName in the address book is different from the above in that it contains an Umlaut whereas the LastName above doesn't (nor does the rest of the from), so I don't think this has anything to do with the issue. @Sebastien Bacher; I am not sure what version I've been using before but I am definitely using *ubuntu10 now, is there any way to find out? -- If nicknames contain full stops, email addresses get mangled and in many cases unsendable https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/597087 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
