Yesterday, I came back to notice my computer was asleep. Curious, I
turned it on and clicked sleep again and it successfully went into sleep
mode. Following this, I restarted and tried to put it to sleep but then
it failed and restarted right back like initially reported in this
thread. Just for the heck of it, I tried it again figuring my computer
must have tried to go into sleep mode multiple times when I left it
unattended. My second try worked. It successfully went into sleep mode.
So now, to put my computer to sleep, I have to appreciate the fact that
the first try will be unsuccessful, but then the successive tries will
be successful. I still haven't been able to get hibernate to work though
