While the mainline kernel does not appear to suffer the same periodic
reboots as the current stable kernel version (2.6.32-22-generic), there
is some odd interaction between the mainline kernel
(2.6.35-020635rc3-generic) and libvirt. Attempting to start Windows XP
VMs results in an infinite BSOD UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME loop. Starting
Ubuntu VMs results in a read-only filesystem. Reverting the the stable
kernel version results in normal libvirt functionality.
