I have the same error too. I delete .local/share/rhythmbox and .gconf/apps/rhythmbox. Still, same error. Please tell me what you need. I don't want to HAVE to update to lucid because Canonical is too lazy to fix their bugs. I'd rather use Fedora or CentOS or Windows for that matter.
