Hi, since I updated my ubuntu the last time, I have no sound on my
Thinkpad X60. Referring to lspci it is a Intel Corporation 82801G sound
card. It already worked with Herd5.
*edit* if i start for example gedit i get the following messages:
ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:876:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to initialize slave
ALSA lib pcm_direct.c:867:(snd_pcm_direct_initialize_slave) snd_pcm_hw_params_an
*edit2* oh and I have the beep inside gnome-terminal when using
completion etc. I'm also able to mute this sound when I turn off sound.
