Hello, I'm also having these problems on and off. All of a sudden kacpid takes up to 80% and more, the temperature starts rising and reaches up to levels of 93°. crossing of course my max temp level and kicking in the fan at full speed, really anoyingly.
My system is an Asus laptop M5000 currently running Lucid Lynx.
