Yeah, indeed, the problem lies deeper in the code of bluez stack. I've tried all the hciconfig options and it does not help a bit.
(Interesting fact is that the troubles with bluez are underlined by the sudden pitch changes and skips happening on android based phones with bluetooth, which OS uses BLUEZ stack as well.
