Hi, in Gnome Bugzila Dan Williams said:

"This is an issue with the icon theme the distribution has chosen. The icons it
includes are likely not the stock NetworkManager icons. Thus, it's up to your
distribution to restyle the icons in their icon theme to correctly represent
the metaphor required.

The stock NetworkManager 'wired network connection' icon is two computers, or
when disconnected, two computers with a red X. There is no ethernet cable in
the stock NetworkManager icons."

So, reassing this bug to humanity, Im not sure that is the package is
responsible for this issue.

Thanks!

** Package changed: network-manager (Ubuntu) => humanity-icon-theme
(Ubuntu)
