Hi Mathieu, Thank you for your quick response. The live CD seems to ignore the "partman/alignment=cylinder" boot parameter. Also when using partition manager from live CD i'm unable to create partitions that will align cylinders. This evening i will try use GParted Live CD to create partitions manually which allows me to align partitions to cylinder boundaries. I'll let you know if it works.
