unbelievable - since the lucid security update
'mysql-server-5.1_5.1.41-3ubuntu12.3_i386.deb', when starting the mysql daemin,
all tables in the data directory are lost!
Also after restoring the data directory, rebooting and starting the mysql
daemon again, all is lost!!
After reverting to mysql-server-5.1_5.1.41-3ubuntu12.1_i386.deb it is
working correctly.
