Public bug reported: Binary package hint: mplayer
I find Mplayer to be the best application for listening to analog radio. Unfortunately analog radio support is disabled in Ubuntu's mplayer package. I think that all that is needed is to pass --enable-radio --enable-radio-capture to ./configure during the build. I tested this in my PPA: https://launchpad.net/~cyfex/+archive/ppa/+builds?build_text=mplayer&build_state=all and it seems to work fine. Is there any intentional reason the version of mplayer in the Ubuntu repos isn't compiled with it? ** Affects: mplayer (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: analog radio -- Mplayer in Ubuntu repos is compiled without support for radio:// (analog radio) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/593548 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
