To "record off the internet", you should use pulse's internal routing
functions. To do that, install the pavucontrol application. While
recording in audacity, bring up pavucontrol, and connect the audacity
input to the soundcard output.
Btw, you might be confused by your USB camera, which only has mic in
(and not line).
