Just confirming that I have the same issue on an Asus Z96J since upgrading to Feisty. Video card is an ATI mobility x1600.
I use Kubuntu and KDM doesn't seem to be any slower than usual. Another symptom though is that the new Kubuntu icon execute effect also slows right down.
