Is there a timescale for this fix to be released?

I have updated my x86 Ubuntu 10.04 VirtualBox guest this morning with
all the currently available updates and it doesn't appear to fix this
issue as it still only boots from IDE and not SATA.

$ dpkg-deb -c linux-image-2.6.32-22-virtual_2.6.32-22.36_i386.deb | grep ahci
tar: Record size = 8 blocks
$

Is it possible to get an interim kernel build for x86 rather than AMD64?

Thanks,

A.
