I can boot kubuntu 6.10 live CD up to 'Unable to locate RSDP' and then suspend
parallels.
Then I disconnect the CD drive from parallels, eject the disk, put in the
ubuntu 7.04 beta disk and re-connect to parallels.
I can then click to restart the boot and ubuntu 7.04 beta installs itself into
parallels.
However, the usb mouse and keyboard are not recognised in parallels and I
cannot continue.
If the 7.04 beta disk is booted directly (not in parallels) booting is normal
and the usb devices work.
I suspect that, between 6.10 and 7.04 there has been a change to casper that
has broken detection of cd drive and usb.
