The dependency on latex-xft-fonts is still missing in Feisty, and so LyX is still horribly broken looking out of the box.
Apparently this is fixed in version 1.3.4-2, according to a LyX changelog: http://packages.debian.org/changelogs/pool/main/l/lyx/lyx_1.3.4-2/changelog However, the version in Feisty does not have this correction, which means it is as broken as that released in Edgy.
