Hi, If you have time, you can run Openoffice over Valgrind and report the results. Run this command:
valgrind --log-file=$HOME/oowriter.memtest --trace-children=yes --track-fds=yes perl /usr/bin/oowriter This runs OpenOffice over Valgrind and detects memory errors. This can take a LOT of time to start , don't worry. Running an app. over Valgrind makes the app. run 10x slower. When it starts then reproduce the steps to make OOo crash. This command generates various files with name oowriter.memtest.* , pack then in a tgar.gz or .zip file and then attach to the bug report.
