Sebastian, to completely clear: we ARE talking with Nautilus Upstream. We ARE collaborating on certain features. They ARE NOT interested in our entire feature set. If you like I can forward you Allan's summary of the discussion that we've been having with upstream over the past few weeks.
I don't appreciate you making a statement like "it's not recommended to use it". We've been working extremely hard to build a better Nautilus and have specifically made it highly accessible to the Ubuntu user. This is like saying that it's not recommended to use Unity over Gnome Shell.
