Before submitting the post, I had checked at least 7-8 times that the bug sussisted and it was not a coincidence. Thought, next time I rebooted, network-manager connected without problems after asking me the keyring password.
bcm43xx module sometimes has problems, evidently it was its fault, not network-manager's one.
