OscarMuntenaar, I have the same issue. I think it is related to this bug also. So far installing the package from Debian Squeeze and then doing "/etc/init.d/hdparm restart", helps. But when I reboot the HDs still do not spindown. I need to manually run "/etc/init.d/hdparm restart".
