I'm using Ubuntu 10.04 on Fujitsu Amilo 1505 laptop.
Somehow iwl driver fails mysteriously. It boots up, works for a minute
or two, sometimes even failing on boot, and then fails.
CPU load gets enourmous and wifi drops. After killing wifi with HW rf
switch, CPU load drops, but after turning it on again, it doesn't
recover.
Same wifi connection works with Win7. Also strangely enough, when I
carry my laptop to my work, it works flawlessly with my work Linksys
router running Tomato firmware. Doesn't drop the connection for 6-8
hours.
