Hello Kristian, you have been bitten by bug #558961: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gallery2/+bug/558961 It is triggered simply by reinstalling gallery2 (has nothing to do with the ppa). IIRC the workaround is to purge gallery2.
