I can confirm that problem persist on my computer, like reported earlier. This is an up-to-date Ubuntu Lucid.
On the other hand, I have another computer which has Lucid installed from the same CD, and does not have this problem. They are both in the same network, trying to connect to the same share. I really hope that someone can make an effort to solve this problem.
