Public bug reported: (launchpad isn't letting me select the package so I chose "I don't know" - Package is Power Management).
If you have a CD/DVD in the drive at the time you turn your computer on, you will get an error about Power Management not responding when you first try and log in. You can cancel the problem and Gnome will log in after a pause of several seconds. When CD was removed from computer prior to shutting it down the error did NOT occur the next time I turned to computer on. Inserted the CD and then powered off. Upon starting the computer again I got the error once more. Unfortunately, it's before I'm fully logged in so cannot get screen shot of the pop up.
